Corneal Topography
by Azza Optometry Centre
Corneal topography is a procedure used to monitor and measure changes that may occur to the shape and integrity of the cornea of your eye. A corneal topographer projects a series of illuminated rings, referred to as a Placido disc, onto the surface of the cornea, which are reflected back into the instrument.
At Azza Optometry, we can also detect wether you have problems with your tears or the shape of your cornea is abnormal ( keratoconus ).
For orthokeratology services, it is crucial to make sure your optometry practice includes topographer in their assessment.
